Latest company news about Eros - the god of love in ancient Greek mythology

Eros (ancient Greek: Ἔ) ρως, English: Eros, the earliest source claimed to be a primitive god involved in world creation. Hesiod believed that he was the fundamental driving force behind the creation of all things at the beginning of the world, and a symbol of all love, desires, and emotions. However, after Plato, he was considered the son of the love god Aphrodite, a beautiful young man holding a bow and arrow.
In early mythology, Eros was considered a primitive god born with Caos, and was a sibling of Caos, the original Earth goddess Gaia, and the Hellish Abyss god Taltalos. Although there was a birth order, they were considered peers in terms of seniority. Similar to their contemporaries, they share the characteristics of primitive gods and are considered the embodiment of the love and emotions of all living beings.
In late Greek mythology, Eros was the youngest son of Aphrodite and Ares, portrayed as a mischievous little boy holding a bow and arrow, barefoot, and with a pair of small wings. Later on, Eros' image transformed into a handsome young man.

Divine spectrum
In Hesiod's "Theology", he was the primordial god born after Caos, Gaia, and Tartaros, and then Erebus and Nix were born in the chaos (Caos). He promoted the fertility and love of the gods, becoming the embodiment of all sexual desires (including same-sex and opposite sex); It is the original driving force for the birth of new life in the universe [2] and the embodiment of the natural force that created it [1].
Hesiod described it this way:
Among the immortals, he is the most beautiful. He makes his whole body numb and makes all the thoughts and talents of gods and people lose in the depths of his heart
Orphesianism
In the tradition of Orpheus esoteric religion, Eros was one of the original gods, namely Fanes( Φάνης)—— Protogonos( Πρωτόγονος)—— Erikpios ρικε π α ῖ ος)—— Motis( Μ ῆ τις)—— Dionysus( Διόνυσος) [4]
In the tradition of the oldest Orphesian genealogy recorded by Aristophanes, Eros is the origin of all things, as written in 'The Bird':
At the beginning, there was only chaos (Caos), dark night (Nix), underworld (Erebus), and vast underworld (Tartaros); at that time, there was no earth (Gaia), no air (Earl, ἀ) ήρ), There is no sky (Uranus); From the dark winged Mister Nighthead in the arms of the underworld, a wind egg emerged. After a period of longing for love (Eros), he was born like a whirlwind, with brilliant golden wings on his back; In the vast and secluded earth, he mingled with the darkness and darkness of chaos, giving birth to us and bringing us into the light for the first time. At first, there was no race of heavenly gods in the world. After the union of love, everything was born, and the intersection of all things gave birth to the heavenly gods of heaven, earth, ocean, and immortality. Therefore, we are much earlier than all heavenly gods

worship
In Athens at the end of the classical era, the Greeks worshipped him as the son of Aphrodite, the god of love and beauty. His father was Ares, or Hephaestus (it is also said that his parents were Zephylos, the goddess of the west wind, and Iris, the goddess of the rainbow).
story
Isazon and Golden Fleece
This story is based on the epic poem "The Heroes of Argo" by Apollonius on the ancient Greek island of Rhode [6]
Frixos was saved by a divine golden sheep. In order to thank the gods, he sacrificed the sheep to Zeus, the king of all gods, and the golden wool was given to King Aetes, who in turn offered the golden wool to Ares, the god of war. Ares nailed it to an oak tree in the sacred forest of Ares and let the venomous dragon guard it. The world believes that this golden fleece is priceless, and many heroes and princes dream of it.
In order to reclaim the scepter and throne from his uncle who had usurped the throne, Prince Isazon of Thesaria fell for his uncle's scam and led Greek heroes to sail the ship Argo to Corcas to retrieve the Golden Fleece.
With the help of Athena, the Argo heroes went through countless hardships to reach their destination, but were unable to obtain the Golden Fleece from the Fire Dragon
Finally, with the help of Eros, the infatuated princess Medea was shot by Eros' arrow and betrayed her father Aeetes for love. She helped Jason obtain the Golden Fleece and killed his brother who came to pursue her. She followed Jason to leave her hometown and start living in a distant country.

Mythological research suggests that Plato's "The Drinking" separated the goddess of love into two, and established a tradition of worship for the son of Aphrodite, the god of love and beauty, in "Huaideluo". In Plato's "The Gathering", Pausanias said:
Aphrodite, as a goddess, was two. One must be older, she has no mother, and is the daughter of Uranus, so we call her 'heavenly'; The other younger one is the daughter of Zeus and Dios, whom we call 'a citizen'. So, as the companions of two Aphrodites, there must also be two, the other called "the heavenly Eros (the primordial god)" and the other should be called "the human Eros (the son of Aphrodite).
In 'Huaideluo', Socrates referred to him as the son of Aphrodite, which echoes Aphrodite's companion in 'The Gathering'.
From a mythological perspective, this sentence by Pausanias actually explains the contradiction between the Iliad and the Theology regarding the birth of Aphrodite. However, in general mythology, it is believed that there is only one Aphrodite and parents are often overlooked.
After Plato, ancient Greece established (mainly Athens) the separation of Eros into two individuals, namely the primitive god Eros and the son of Aphrodite, who were worshipped separately. Aphrodite gradually replaced the position of the primitive god Eros. This worship influenced later Hellenistic times and ancient Rome.
