Character life
Peter, the head of the twelve apostles of Jesus, was born by fishing. Later, he followed Jesus and began to preach the gospel after the ascension of Jesus Christ and the advent of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost. Later, he was persecuted by the Roman Emperor Nero and died in Rome. Before his death, Peter asked to be nailed to the cross.
Character experience
When Jesus began to preach, Andrea was introduced by John: "look at the lamb of the Lord!" When he went home to worship Jesus as his teacher, he met his brother Peter and said, "we have found the Messiah - Jesus Christ, the Savior." Peter was introduced by his brother to Jesus. Jesus saw him and said, "you are Simon. Your father's name is Jonah. In the future, you will be called zephaz."
Every time God gave someone a great task, he called him by a proper name. Peter was inspired and called by Jesus for the first time. His will was uncertain, and he said goodbye to Jesus temporarily.
When Jesus preached, he did good deeds everywhere and showed many miracles. The voice of Jesus was preached everywhere day by day. A large number of people came to follow him and listen to his gospel. One day, Jesus came to the shore of Lake Saleh and saw two boats tied by the lake. One boat was Peter's. because the audience was crowded, Jesus got on the boat and taught the people. After that, he asked Peter to row to the center of the lake and cast a net to catch fish, Peter said, "teacher, we worked hard all night and couldn't catch a fish; but according to your order, I'll get off the net." Sure enough, I caught a lot of fish and nearly broke the fishing net. I had to ask other ship Companions to help. They were full of two ships and almost sank. Peter was amazed. He fell down before Jesus and said, "Lord, please leave me! I am a sinner." So Jesus said to him, "don't be afraid. Follow me. From now on, I will make you a fisherman." Jesus loved Peter very much. Peter was grateful to the Lord and deeply understood and remembered what Jesus said and did.
Peter, a passionate and frank man, once said to Jesus, "look, we have left everything and followed you." Jesus answered, "I tell you the truth, whoever gave up his wife, brothers, sisters, parents, children and land for me and the cause of the gospel will receive a hundredfold in this world, that is, houses, brothers, sisters, parents, children and land, and will be persecuted and will have eternal life in the afterlife."

Main deeds
When Jesus came to Philip's Caesarean region, he asked his disciples, "what do people think of me?" They answered, "people have different opinions about you. Some say you are John the Baptist, some say you are Elijah, and others say you are Jeremiah or other prophets." Jesus asked his disciples, "then what do you say I am?" Peter immediately replied, "you are the Christ, the son of the living God." Jesus was very satisfied with Peter's answer, Then he said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon (Peter), for this is not the revelation of flesh and blood to you, but the revelation of my father in heaven! I tell you that you are Peter. On this rock, I will build my church, and the gates of hell cannot defeat him. I will give you the key to the kingdom of heaven: everything you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and everything you release on earth will be released in heaven."
From then on, Jesus began to prophesy his suffering and resurrection, saying that he should go to Jerusalem. Be persecuted by elders, chief priests and scribes, die and rise on the third day. Peter took Jesus and blamed him. "Lord, don't do this! This kind of thing must not happen to you!" Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Satan, step back. You are a stumbling block to me, because you care not for the meaning of God, but for the meaning of man." The reason why Peter was criticized this time was also out of his loyalty and love for the Lord Jesus. However, his view was purely based on natural feelings and had not been raised to the realm of transcendence. From the tone of Jesus criticizing Peter, we can see how urgent the Lord Jesus was to carry out the will of the Lord and be willing to sacrifice to save people. At the same time, Jesus set high standards for the apostles.
When Jesus taught in the synagogue of gopheron, he said, "I do tell you that if you do not eat the body of the son of man and drink his blood, your soul will have no life. Whoever eats my body and drinks my blood will have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day..." Many of the disciples heard these words of Jesus and said, "these words are unacceptable. Who will believe them?" Many disciples were suspicious and walked away quietly. Jesus knew that his disciples were dissatisfied with these words. He said to them, "do you think you can't accept my words? Should you believe, but you won't believe?..." many people left Jesus and stopped following him. So Jesus said to the twelve, "will you also leave me?" Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, if we leave you, who will we go to? Only you have eternal life. We trust you and know that you are the holy one of God."
Jesus was willing to show his glory to his disciples in order to enhance their faith and eliminate their doubts about whether Jesus was Christ. Jesus secretly took Peter, James and John, James' brother, up a high mountain; Jesus changed his face before them. His face shone like the sun. His clothes were as white as light, dazzling and beautiful. Suddenly Moses and Elijah appeared before them and talked to Jesus. Peter was so surprised and overjoyed that he couldn't help asking Jesus, "Lord, we'd better stay here; if you like, I'm going to put up three tents here, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.". Peter's voice was falling to the ground when a bright cloud hid them; A voice came out of the cloud: "this is our beloved son. I am pleased with him. Listen to him." The disciples fell to the ground in fear. Jesus approached them, comforted them and said, "get up! Don't be afraid."
Once, Jesus went to Simon Peter and Andre's house with James and John. It happened that Peter's mother-in-law was ill in bed. They immediately introduced her condition to Jesus. Jesus came to her bed, took her hand and pulled her up. Her illness healed immediately. He got up to cook and serve tea for Jesus and Peter as if she had never been ill.
One day, Jesus urged his disciples to get on the boat and transition to the other side of the sea of galilea. He said goodbye to them and went up the mountain alone to pray. In the evening, the boat had reached the middle of the sea. In the face of the adverse wind and rough waves, at four o'clock in the night, Jesus went to the sea to rescue them. When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said, "it's a monster!" They were frightened and cried out. Jesus immediately said to them, "don't be afraid, it's me! Peter said quickly and straightly," Lord, it's your word. Please allow me to come to you on the water! " Jesus said to him, "come!" So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and went straight to Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind blowing, he was afraid and wanted to sink, so he shouted, "Lord, save me!" Jesus immediately stretched out his hand and grabbed him and said, "you of little faith, why do you doubt?" When they got into the boat, it was calm. All the people on the boat worshipped Jesus and said, "you are indeed the son of the Lord!"

How could Peter be so bold to ask Jesus to let him walk on the water? It seems a little rash, but it's not, because not long ago, Peter saw Jesus blowing the wind to make the rain and commanding the wonders of nature. The miracle was like this: after Jesus healed Peter's mother-in-law, he and his disciples got on the boat and crossed the sea. Suddenly, there was a storm, and the big waves rolled and covered. Seeing that a leaf of the boat would be destroyed, Jesus slept in the bow of the boat. The disciples woke up and cried for help and said, "Lord, help! We are about to drown!" Jesus said to them, "Why are you so timid, you little believers?" Jesus got up and ordered calm. Sure enough, the storm stopped and the sea was like a mirror. The disciples were surprised and said, "who is he? The wind and the sea obey his orders!" Peter had this experience, his confidence doubled, encountered a storm, and depended on the heart of Jesus. Therefore, it was not abrupt and strange to ask Jesus to let him walk on the water to meet Jesus.
In the last supper, Jesus poured water to wash the disciples' feet and tied a towel around his waist to wipe the disciples' feet. When he came to Peter, Peter said to Jesus in horror, "Lord, will you wash my feet?" Jesus answered, "you don't understand what I do now, but you will understand it later." Peter didn't understand this. He felt a panic in his heart: "no! Lord, how can you wash my feet!" Jesus insisted, "if I don't wash your feet, you have nothing to do with me." When Peter heard this, he said to the Lord Jesus, "Lord, not only my feet, but also my head and hands!" Jesus said, "a person who has taken a bath will be clean as long as he washes his feet..."
According to the Bible, Peter has a prominent personality. His personality is also very distinctive. Peter was loyal and upright to Jesus everywhere. However, before the advent of the Holy Spirit, Peter's views and attitudes towards things were purely based on his personal nature. His words and actions were often inconsistent, inconsistent and seemed childish and ridiculous. At the same time, we can also see from his unique temperament that Peter transferred his whole thoughts and feelings to the will of the Lord Jesus, To the Lord Jesus without reservation.
Before the crucifixion, Jesus had predicted how he would be betrayed by traitors, suffering and dying. Peter vowed passionately and generously that he would rather die than betray. He said to Jesus, "Lord, even if I die with you, I will not betray." Jesus said, "are you ready to sacrifice for me? I do tell you that you will turn your face against me three times before the chicken crows!" Peter faced a severe test. From his overconfident tone, it is obvious that he will not stand the test if he does not rely on God at this key moment, because of his blood and headstrong.
That night, Peter prayed with Jesus in the olive garden; Sleepy and unable to insist on praying with Jesus. Late at night, the villains came to arrest Jesus. Jesus calmly met him. The disciples were terrified and fled, so that Jesus was arrested and imprisoned by the villains. Peter followed Jesus far into the Yamen and the high priest's house with worry. Because it was cold at night, he sat in the yard with the soldiers to warm himself. A maid came to him and said, "you are with Jesus of Galilee." Peter denied it in public and said, "I don't know when you're talking!" When Peter went out to the entrance hall, another maid saw him and said to those present, "this man is also with Jesus of Nazareth." Peter swore, "I don't know that man?" Soon after, the people standing there came up to him and said, "you must be his partner. You can tell by your tone." Peter swore again, "I don't know that man." Immediately the rooster crowed, Peter woke up and remembered Jesus' words, "before the rooster crows, you want me to deny me three times." He went out and wept bitterly.
Early in the morning on the day of Jesus' resurrection, when it was dawn, madarina visited the grave and saw that the big stone at the door of the grave had been removed, so he ran back and told Peter and John that the two disciples ran to the grave together. John came first. When Peter arrived, he entered the grave and saw the burial cloth thrown on the ground, but the handkerchief wrapped around his head was placed in another place. Peter and John were convinced of Jesus' resurrection. Jesus appeared to the disciples twice in the dining room, Peter was present.
Jesus appeared again to his disciples by the sea of Tiberias: This is how it happened: that day, Peter and Timothy, called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, John and James went fishing. They got into the boat and fished all night, but they couldn't catch a fish! Until the morning, Jesus stood on the shore and said to them, "friends, have you caught any fish?" They replied, "no!" Jesus said, "cast a net on the right side of the boat and you will catch it." As Jesus had said, they cast their nets and caught fish full of them, but they could not pull the net. The disciples began to fail to recognize Jesus' guidance to them. John first said to Peter, "it's the Lord!" As soon as Peter heard this, he put on his clothes, tied his waist and jumped into the sea. The other disciples were very close to the shore, about thirty feet away, and pulled the net full of fish to the shore. When they got on the shore, they saw that the charcoal fire was burning and baking fish and bread. Jesus asked them to bring the fresh fish they had caught. Peter got into the boat again and pulled the net full of fish, a total of 153 big fish. So many fish didn't break the net. Jesus said to them, "come and have breakfast." No one dares to ask who he is. Everyone knows that he is the Lord! Jesus gave them bread and fish to satisfy their hunger.
After breakfast, Jesus said to Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me more than these people?" Answer: "Lord, yes, you know I love you!" Jesus said to him, "feed my lamb!" He said to him a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?" Peter answered, "yes, Lord, you know I love you very much." Jesus said to him, "you shepherd my sheep!" Jesus said to him a third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love me?" Peter was uneasy because Jesus asked him again and again. He replied, "Lord, you know everything. You know I love you!" Jesus said to him, "feed my sheep!"
Then Jesus said to Peter, "I do tell you that when you are young, you gird yourself up and go wherever you want, but when you are old, you should stretch out your hands and others should gird you up and send you where you don't want to go." Jesus told Peter that he would later die in the name of Jesus Christ.
Peter -- crucified upside down
On the way from apian to Rome, there is a church called "Lord, where are you going?" The ambassador died for Peter. At that time, Emperor Nero launched the first great persecution of the Roman Empire. At first, many Christians around Peter advised him to flee quickly. At first, he was unwilling to leave these sheep, but later he had no choice but to flee alone. When he got there, he suddenly saw a man coming not far away. He recognized the Lord Jesus Christ. He asked, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus said to him, "Peter, you have forsaken my sheep. Now I will go to Rome and crucify again!" Peterson beat his chest and wept. He immediately returned to Rome and was soon arrested. He asked to be crucified upside down because he thought he didn't deserve the same way of death as the Lord.
