Odysseus, also known as "Odysseus", is a hero in ancient Greek mythology, corresponding to Ulysses in Roman mythology.
Odysseus was the king of the island of Ithaca in western Greece and the protagonist of Homer's epic Odyssey. He devoted himself to the Trojan War and conquered Troy, which had been resisting for ten years.
After the end of the Trojan War, he drifted on the sea for ten years, with almost all his subordinates killed and injured. After experiencing countless difficulties and obstacles, he finally returned to his hometown and reunited with his wife and children.

During the 10-year siege of Troy by the Greek coalition, Odysseus was brave and skilled in battle, resourceful, and repeatedly achieved remarkable results. He offered a Trojan horse as a strategy to defeat Troy. On the way back from Troy, he led his companions to offend Poseidon, the sea god, by stabbing the blind Cyclops, and was repeatedly obstructed by Poseidon, experiencing various hardships and dangers. He overcame the enchantress Kerke, overcome the temptation of the beautiful song of the sea demon siren, and passed through the residences of the sea monster Skula and Calubdis, breaking free from the 7-year detention of the goddess Calypso. Finally, in the tenth year, he luckily returned to his hometown of Itaka, where he, along with his son Tremarcus, killed the suitor who had entangled his wife and squandered his family's wealth, and reunited with the whole family. The deeds of Odysseus are described in detail in Homer's epic. Odysseus carries obvious characteristics of the times, exhibiting cunning and cunning in the maintenance of his private property and the exploration of his wife's loyalty. Nevertheless, the portrayal of the Odyssey image in the epic is still positive. His feat of overcoming numerous difficulties at sea demonstrates the unwavering determination and heroic spirit of humanity in conquering nature and facing obstacles.

Iliad
Homer's epics are divided into "Iliad" and "Odyssey", and the movies "Troy" and "The Trojan Horse Slaughter" are both adapted from "Iliad". The Iliad only wrote about Hector's death, but according to the Odyssey and other ancient Greek works, the war surrounding the city of Ileon continued for a long time. Later, Achilles was shot to death by Paris and Apollo with arrows. The Achaeans held a meeting to decide which of Aeas and Odysseus could inherit Achilles' armor. They believed that Odysseus had contributed more to protecting Achilles' body than Aeas, causing the latter to commit suicide in anger. [3] Due to the oracle, Odysseus was ordered to retrieve Philoctetes, who had been abandoned by the Allied forces on the island of Lemnos. [4] In the end, Odysseus devised a plan to build a large wooden horse that contained ambushes. The Trojans dragged the horse into the city, but the Achaeans joined forces and captured the city of Ileon (Troy), ending the 10-year war. The leaders of Akia, who had left their country for a long time, returned to their homeland one after another, and Odysseus, along with his companions, sailed towards his hometown of Itak. From here, we begin the story of another epic poem, the Odyssey, centered around Odysseus' adventures at sea.

Odyssey
The Odyssey tells the adventure story of the Greek hero Odysseus after his victory in the Trojan War and on his return journey. [5] After using a Trojan horse strategy to capture the city of Troy, Odyssey disregarded the spell of Poseidon, the sea god, and set sail home. Along the way, he experienced all kinds of disasters and drifted at sea for another 10 years. Many people in Itak believe that if he doesn't return for 10 years, he must have passed away. Many local nobles are pursuing his wife Penelope, who tries every means to refuse them while still hoping for his survival. During these 10 years, Odysseus experienced many difficulties and obstacles: the Cyclops ate his companions, and the Goddess Kerke turned his companions into pigs through witchcraft, and wanted to keep him on the island; He arrived at the edge of the Yinghai Sea, which surrounded the earth, and saw many ghosts from the past; Passing through the Sea Demon Island again, escaping the enchanting song of the Siren, the monsters Calybdis and Skula, and finally, after staying with Odysseus for several years, the goddess Calypso agreed to let him go back. He arrived in the land of the Fiexes and recounted his maritime adventures of the past 9 years to King Aquinas. Aquinas sent a ship to take him back to his hometown. The suitors who pursued his wife still occupied his palace, eating and drinking heavily. Odysseus pretended to be a beggar and entered the palace, trying to kill the violent nobles with his son and reunite with his wife.
