Hans Adam Ferdinand Alois Josef Maria Marco d'Aviano Pius (full name: Johannes Adam Ferdinand Alois Josef Maria Marco d'Aviano Pius; born February 14, 1945) was the head of state of Liechtenstein in Central Europe. He was the eldest son of Franz Joseph II (1906-1989) and his wife Gina von Wilczek (1921-1989).
Hans Adam was born on February 14, 1945 in Zurich, Switzerland. He studied in Vienna and St. Gallen, Switzerland, and received vocational training at a bank in London. Obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In August 1984, his father Franz Joseph II delegated most of the power to him and entrusted him with the responsibility of government affairs. On November 13, 1989, Joseph II passed away, and on the same day, Hans Adam announced his succession and named himself Hans Adam II.
