Clymene is a famous goddess in ancient Greek mythology. In Hesiod's "Divine Manual", she is considered as one of the ocean goddess, the daughter of Oceanus and Tethys.
But in other versions, Clymene is considered as one of the twelve Titans.

She is the wife of Iapetus and has four children: Atlas, Prometheus, Epimetheus and Menoetius.
In Roman literature, she had intimate relationships with Helios and Apollo, and had children. The most famous one is that she gave birth to her son Phaeton with the sun god Helius. Phaeton grew up not believing that he was the son of the sun god and demanded a solar chariot from his father, ultimately leading to a tragic outcome. This is just a legend of the Romans. In Greek mythology, Helios and Phaer are the same father and son, and have no relationship with Clymene.

Menotius is the second generation Titan, the son of the Titan god Iapetus and Clymene, and the brother of Atlas, Prometheus, and Epimetheus. He participated in the war of the Titanic gods against Zeus (see Titan War). He was defeated by Zeus in the battle on Mount Triphilus (some say struck by lightning) and, like other Titans, was thrown into Tartaros and imprisoned.

Atlas or Atlas (Greek: Άτλας） It is the Greek mythological Optimus, belonging to the Titanic family. He was condemned by Zeus to support the heavens with his shoulders. According to legend, the king of North Africa is the descendant of Atlas. The Atlas Mountains in North Africa are named after him. The vertical tail wing of the Atlas aircraft is painted with the figure of Titan supporting the sky.
